外界關切陸菲南海仲裁案，國民黨總統參選人朱立倫昨提出定期航班發展觀光的主張，行政院立即回應規劃中，但民進黨立委李昆澤3日痛批根本不可行，大型飛機跑道不夠長，小型飛機飛不到，淡水不足也是問題。

朱立倫表示，南海議題首先要「擱置爭議」，第二是「共同開發」；他還說，政府過去做得還不夠，至少要讓國人覺得跟太平島有密切淵源，不要用過度的人工開發，天然美景加上一些基本的設備，就可讓台灣人有機會，透過每周定期航班，觀光、看自己的國土，讓願景更為積極。

李昆澤在立院院會質詢指出，朱立倫說法，是迴避國家主權，以觀光發展轉移焦點。

李昆澤質疑說，太平島跑道是以軍機C130降落為做規劃，長度1200公尺左右，而民航機要1400公尺，小飛機也飛不到那邊，兩地距離1600公里，搭船多久才能到？淡水也有限，明明知道不可行，卻欺騙國人。

對於太平島觀光政策，行政院長毛治國回應也很含蓄，強調後勤補給會「非常吃力」，需要專業評估，才能判斷；可以針對小規模研習評估跟規劃，不見得是定期航班，但增加國人與太平島的聯繫，是可以來評估的。
